Cheryl and Andy are incredibly supportive, experienced and passionate about education. Meeting them was a defining moment in my education as I was able to enjoy myself and benefit from their help. They are friendly and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate my needs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for tutors”

A really big thank you to you, Jess, as you helped my daughter enormously with her work and most importantly, her confidence. She always enjoyed coming to see you and I would certainly recommend you to anyone else needing tutoring help.”

I wouldn’t have been able to succeed in school without the help of Cheryl and Andy as they gave me confidence in my work and helped me learn how to deal with my dyslexia.
I’ve just passed my second year at university with a high 2:1 and I wouldn’t have been able to be where I am today without their tutoring. Before going to tutoring I used to cry when entering the school gates, now I can walk through university with my head held high”

My daughter had a different teacher nearly every term and I was worried that she might not pass her GCSE English at this rate.
I was very lucky to be referred to Cheryl. With her guidance, she got my daughter back into the swing, enabling a more ‘can do’ approach and totally smashed it by getting two A grades! Unbelievable and fostering gorgeous confidence in her to boot.
Thank you Cheryl for your skills and clever teaching methods.”
– Julie Collings, parent.
Dyslexia is challenging and misunderstood. Those with dyslexia are often underestimated in every aspect. Cheryl has supported and coached my daughter over 4 years and is pretty much part of the family. I can’t recommend this astounding woman enough.

Before the assessment started, Cheryl was kind and informative, going through what the assessment would consist of and that not to worry if I might not know the answer. When I arrived, everything was set up before hand in an organised way and ready for the assessment to begin. During the assessment the questions were asked clearly and at a steady pace. The room where the assessment took place was quiet and spacious. Overall the assessment went quickly and smoothly, allowing for breaks when needed. Cheryl was very considerate and accommodating, making sure that I was ready and understood the task. She also completed the report very quickly and in great detail, explaining each area.

Cheryl taught me several new learning strategies to help me cope with my dyslexia at school. I came to Cheryl and Andy when I was 7 years old because at primary school I had a lot of trouble learning to read and felt very behind compared to my peers. I continued with the tutoring until I was 16 and by this time I had become a much more confident reader and had begun to find the enjoyment in reading. The skills I learnt with Cheryl helped me across all of my subjects at secondary school and I still use her methods of organisation and time-keeping in my everyday life. I am now 21 years old and have just graduated with a first-class honours degree and Cheryl and Andy have now become my family!
